Sergio Murenko, a student at Elian’s British School, recognised for his comment on Fiction Express

La Nucía, Thursday, 12 December 2025 – Today, Elian’s British School celebrates the success of one of its most avid student readers: Sergio Murenko (Year 8), who has been recognised for his participation on the Fiction Express platform as part of the school’s reading programme.

Fiction Express invites students to engage with stories through Live Books. These books encourage readers to take part in the plot and share their opinions in forums. Sergio wrote a comment on How to Save the World that caught attention.
The author, Javi Araguz, and the platform team praised his creativity and critical thinking.

As a reward for his participation, Sergio will have the unique opportunity to meet the author, allowing him to ask all his questions directly about the book and the writing process.

Elian’s British School, together with Fiction Express, aims to foster a love of reading among its students.
The programme helps students to develop critical comprehension skills and improve their written expression.
It also turns reading into an interactive and engaging experience for them.

The school thanks @javiaraguz and the @fiction.express team for providing new ways to bring reading closer to young people and looks forward with excitement to the next editions of the programme.
