On Saturday 18 April, the school grounds were filled with life and enthusiasm as the Chess Tournament & EBS Spring Showcase.
Between 10:00 and 13:00, families from our school community enjoyed an event designed to showcase the effort, talent and creativity our students demonstrate every day.
The debut of the 1st EBS Chess Tournament
One of the highlights of the morning was the inauguration of the 1st EBS Chess Tournament, a milestone in school life that fosters concentration and strategic thinking.
Seeing students face the chessboard with respect and sportsmanship reflected the values we promote at the school.
A showcase of skills and sport
The programme of activities allowed attendees to witness students’ overall progress across various disciplines
Art, rhythm, chess and football.
On the one hand, the taekwondo demonstrations and, on the other, the football activities captured everyone’s attention.
There were also performances by the Music School and dynamic Zumba sessions.
They showcased students’ physical skill, creativity and confidence, while keeping both adults and children active throughout the morning.
Strengthening bonds
Beyond technical and sporting skills, the Chess Tournament fulfilled its purpose by offering a space for families to come together and connect.
