Dukes British Summer Camps 2026: An International Academic Experience in the United Kingdom
Dukes British Summer Camps 2026 offer students the opportunity to enjoy a unique academic summer at some of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious educational institutions. Designed for students aged 11 to 17, these programmes combine academic learning, English immersion, personal development and cultural experiences in leading university environments such as Canford, Cambridge and Oxford.
During July 2026, participants will be able to broaden their academic horizons, improve their English skills and prepare for their future university studies, all with the quality assurance and support of Dukes Education, an internationally recognised educational group.
Canford School Programme (ages 11–16)
The Canford School Programme is aimed at students aged 11 to 16 and runs from 29 June to 13 July 2026. It offers a comprehensive educational experience that combines academic learning, social activities and international community life.
What the Canford programme includes
The programme includes full-board residential accommodation, the academic programme, comprehensive travel insurance, flights and transfers, as well as the continuous supervision of two Dukes Education Spain teachers throughout the experience. The programme fee is €3,780.
Classes are organised in small groups, with a maximum of 15 students per classroom, and include 15 hours of tuition per week. At the end of the course, students receive an academic report and certificate.
Academic pathways and optional extras
At Canford, students can choose from different pathways such as English enrichment, Future Artists, Future Entrepreneurs, Future Scientists (STEM) and Future Global Leaders. Optional academies are also available at an additional cost, including tennis, football, horse riding, and land and water activities.
Accommodation and surroundings
Canford School is located on a 250-acre estate in Dorset, in the south-west of England, close to Bournemouth and Southampton. Students stay in gender-separated boarding houses, with comfortable rooms and spacious common areas that promote wellbeing and social interaction.
Cambridge College Programme (ages 14–17)
The Cambridge College Programme is designed for students aged 14 to 17 who are looking for a more specialised pre-university experience. The programme runs from 29 June to 13 July 2026 and costs €4,550.
Academic focus and faculties
This programme allows students to explore specific subject areas through different faculties, such as Science and Technology, Medicine, Business, Art and Design, Psychology and English pathways. Classes include 20 hours of tuition per week, with a strong academic focus.
Facilities and accommodation
Teaching takes place at Dukes Education’s own facilities, including Sancton Wood School, ranked among the top ten independent schools in the UK by The Sunday Times. Accommodation is provided in modern residential blocks with communal areas, laundry facilities and basic kitchens, offering an experience very close to real university life.
Oxford College Programme (ages 15–17)
The Oxford College Programme is the most advanced option and is aimed at students aged 15 to 17. It runs from 6 to 20 July 2026 and costs €6,500.
A pre-university experience in Oxford
Oxford College offers an authentic university experience at one of the University of Oxford’s colleges. The programme combines 25 hours of weekly tuition with cultural excursions, academic ceremonies and a strong focus on future university and career pathways.
Academic areas include Global Leadership, Medicine, Law and Business, all delivered in a highly demanding intellectual environment with contact with industry professionals.
Accommodation and university life
Students are accommodated in university colleges close to Oxford city centre and its university parks, allowing them to fully immerse themselves in the city’s academic atmosphere and enjoy a realistic experience of British university life.
Organisation, flights and safety
The programmes include flights from Madrid to London Heathrow. For the Canford and Cambridge programmes, students travel accompanied by Spanish teachers from Dukes Education. For Oxford, travel accompaniment from Spain is not included, although a Dukes Education staff member meets students on arrival. Optional flight accompaniment can be arranged.
All programmes include comprehensive travel insurance, constant supervision and careful planning to ensure students’ safety and wellbeing throughout their stay.
