Elian’s British School La Nucía Welcomes a Visit from Dukes Education Governors

Governor´s Visit

La Nucía, 20 January – Elian’s British School La Nucía enjoyed a particularly dynamic week with a visit from members of the leadership and finance teams of Dukes Education, a key event within the school’s annual governance and review calendar.

The school welcomed Chris Eversden, Managing Director for Dukes Education Spain; Chris Durbin, Independent Governor; and Juan Castéres, Chief Financial Officer for Dukes Education Europe. These visits form part of the three annual governance meetings and are designed to support the school’s strategic, academic and organisational development.

During their visit, the governors met with the Primary and Secondary Student Councils, giving students the opportunity to share their experiences, ideas and suggestions for improvement. They also toured the school and classrooms, gaining first-hand insight into the daily work taking place across all educational stages.

Elian’s British School La Nucía greatly values these visits, which strengthen communication and collaboration with Dukes Education and support the school’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

The school would like to thank the governors for their time, approachability and commitment during the visit, highlighting the importance of these meetings in continuing to provide a high-quality education aligned with the values and standards of Dukes Education.
